The team parade starts at Pecan Park in New Territory, walking towards the Club field. The parade will begin promptly at 8:30am, so plan to arrive by 8:00AM in your designated team spot. A map of the parade route is attached. The parade ends at the Club, so you will want to drop off your player at the park and then go park at the Club or someplace close. We ask that all parents line up along the parade route to watch the teams go by! No parents allowed to walk with the teams.

We  walk towards the Club Field and upon arrival presentations and on-field activities (home run derby contest, announcements, etc) will begin.  There will be a first pitch and safety prayer. The National Anthem is sung by a member of our community and the Little League pledge is recited.

Team and Individual Pictures are taken this date.  The league will email you your time slot.  You are not obligated to purchase anything.  You will get a photo form to fill out and pay at the time of the pictures.   The photographers usually take cash, credit cards or checks. Even if you don't plan on buying a package, please have your son attend so he can be in the team photo.   Team Coaches get to take a picture with their son/daughter player and Team Mom gets a coupon for a free item as a Thank You for volunteering their time! Please remind both, they usually don’t know about this perk!

The League will usually grill hot dog and hamburgers and sell drinks, chips and desserts. 

There will also be vendor booths with different products.

Each team is required to have 1 volunteer available for one 30-minute duty at an assigned time during Opening Day.  It is very important to have as many volunteers as possible on this day! Older siblings could fill in if they are willing!
