Get to know Coach E!!

Ernest Lamour (Coach E) is in his 4th year coaching with Stamford Peace Basketball Club.

Coach E is a product of the Stamford Community where he grew up playing Basketball, Baseball, and Football. Coach E has been coaching basketball for over 10 years on various levels, which includes ages 5-17. Coach E is a volunteer coach for the Stamford Youth Basketball program where he currently coaches high school boys.

Today, he works as the CEO of the Stamford Family YMCA where his focus in the community is on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Coach E received a Bachelors Degree in Community Recreation & Leisure Studies from Southern CT State University in 2003. He later went on to earn his Master's Degree in Sports Management from West Virginia University in 2009.  

In the 2013 Spring/Summer AAU season, Coach E will be coaching Stamford Peace's 9th grade boys team.
