Practice Schedule and Location

As everyone knows practice is the only way we get better at anything.  I encourage all parents to do what they can to make every practice and if there are any issues, please contact me.  I understand there are things that we all have scheduled and that practice will get in the way at times.  We will try and run practices quickly so long as the boys are motivated and getting it.  I don't believe in the 2 hour practice especially with young children.  Make sure the boys bring their mitts, helmets, cups, bats, water, etc.  I have a large bucket of baseballs so we're all set there.  In addition, I will bring tennis balls in case there are any kids that struggle tracking the ball and catching.  I will also use the tennis balls during batting practice.....someone will get plunked.  They really need to learn how to track the ball and how to move to limit any damage.  Don't worry, I won't throw hard.....I will mix the tennis balls in with the hard balls and hopefully they won't expect it and it will simulate an actual situation.  The boys will be scared of staying in the box if they get hit and hurt.  If we teach them how to properly deal with a ball coming at them it will make them more confident to get back in there and stay there.  If you have any issues email me so we can talk.  Thanks
