Baseball



Tee Ball 
Ages 4-6, co-ed. Introductory/instructional. 3 innings, no score kept. 7-year-olds may play, at a parent's request, with board approval. Teams formed by school and coach/friend/sibling requests.

Single A  (A)
Ages 6-8. Coach Pitch. Non-competitive/instructional: 5 innings, scores and standings not kept. Recommended that players have one year of TBall experience. Teams formed by school and coach/friend/sibling requests.

Double A  (AA) 
Ages 7-9. Pitching machine + kid pitch. Non-competitive/instructional: 5 innings, scores and standings not kept. Recommended that players have one year of Single A experience. Teams formed by school, coach/friend/sibling requests, and balanced age groups. Players league age 8 are not required to attend a tryout.  Players league age 9 that attend a tryout for AAA or Majors and are not drafted will be placed on a AA team.

Triple A  (AAA)
League Age 8-11. Competitive: 6 innings, umpires, scores kept, standings recorded. Teams formed by a draft. 7-year-olds with an advanced skill level may play if drafted.12-year-olds may play AAA, at a parent's request, with board approval. Typical reason would be skill level/safety risk at Major's level. 12-year-olds cannot pitch in AAA. Players are eligible for age 9/10 and 10/11 All-Star teams, based on their league age.  Participation in tryouts and 60% of the league scheduled games are a requirement for All-Star eligibility.

Majors
League Age 10-12. Competitive: 6 innings, umpires, scores kept, standings recorded. Teams formed by a draft. 9-year-olds with an advanced skill level may play if drafted. Players are eligible for age 9/10, 10/11 and 11/12 All-Star teams, based on their league age. Participation in tryouts and 60% of the league scheduled games are a requirement for All-Star eligibility. 

Intermediate  (50/70)
League Age 13. Competitive: 7 innings, umpires, scores kept, standings recorded. Field size increases to 50' pitching distance and 70' base paths. Stealing and pick-offs allowed. This division is a good transition between a little league sized field (46' pitch, 60' base) and a full size field (60' pitch, 90' base). 11- and 12-year-olds may play, but are encouraged to stay in the Majors division. Players are eligible for 50/70 All-Stars.  Participation in tryouts and 60% of the league scheduled games are a requirement for All-Star eligibility.
