The Challenger Division is for boys and girls with physical and mental limitations. It was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League. Today more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide.  
  
League age 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school. Birth certificate required, no boundary requirement. Games begin after spring break and end Memorial Day weekend. They are played on Saturdays, weather permitting. One practice per week. Family involvement and participation is encouraged.
