2019 Girls Rec Player of the Year

Congratulations to Amanda Norwitz, the MonU 2019 Female Rec Player of the Year.

Coach Bob Depascale had the following to say about Amanda: "Amanda plays defense, outside fullback and sweeper.  She positions herself well, plays the ball and player and closes very quickly.  She started playing up as a 9th grader in the U-19 girls division and improvement has been marked.  Amanda has a super attitude and is a great teammate.  Amanda is more than deserving due to he never-stop, skilled defensive play, speed, and all out performance.

  • 9 years playing soccer
  • Will graduate from North Penn High School, June 2020
  • Post high school plans: attend college for music management / promotion
  • Hobbies:  going to concerts, participating in Girl Scouts, art and animation
  • Favorite sports celebrity:  Julie Ertz
