Support our JV Cheerleaders!

Hello friends, families, and Cheer supporters! We are proud to announce that Pomperaug Pop Warner's JV Cheer team, made up of girls ranging in age from 11 to 13 years old from Southbury, Middlebury, Woodbury and Bethlehem, have- at no surprise to anyone who has seen them cheer- far outshined the local competition with their athleticism and spirit and ARE HEADING TO NATIONALS!

We are excited to announce that this is the first group of athletes from Pomperaug Pop Warner to be invited to the National Championships since 2004! These girls and their devoted coaches have changed their routine MANY times this season to work around injuries and other unexpected obstacles, at times just days before competitions, with Nationals as their goal... now we need your help and support to get them there!

Ten of our Warrior cheerleaders from the JV team, coached by Nicole Ouellette, Lori Szumigala, and junior coaches Mackenzie and Aly, will be competing against teams from across the country for the national title in the JV Medium Level 3 Division in Orlando, Florida, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World on Monday, December 9th, 2019. This competition will be televised on ESPN so even if you cannot be there, you can watch our girls shine from wherever you are!

Please share this campaign far and wide and encourage friends and family to consider contributing to help us offset the cost of the flights, accommodations and the other associated fees necessary to get our girls to the championships!
