Hello Spring Hill Dixie Softball Families,
This year has obviously been turbulent and eventful. We hope that everyone is safe and healthy. I don't think 2020 is a year any of us are likely to forget, especially any time soon.
Obviously, the spring softball season is just now finishing because of all the delays with COVID-19. With that said, our normal fall season is fast approaching though. We wanted to try to get back to our normal timeline for seasons. As a matter of fact, August 1st is the first day of registration online. Registration will be open until Thursday, September 3rd. With a lot of businesses and families still feeling the economic impact of the pandemic, we wanted to keep the registration fees as low as we could. The registration fee for the Fall season is $30 for the SweeTees division and $60 for all other divisions. There are still discounts for additional girls in the same family. Please note: a late registration fee of $25 will be applied for all registrations completed after Saturday, August 29th.
We can accept Visa and MasterCard as payment directly through the site. If you wish to pay with cash or check, please bring your payment to the in-person registration on Saturday, August 22nd, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Evaluations will take place the week of Monday, August 31st, through Thursday, September 3rd, and will provide a final opportunity to bring your payment. Please note that there is a slight change to evaluations this season as they will be broken up into different days.
Please note: If you sign up your daughter after evaluations have taken place for her assigned division, she will be assigned to a team based on space availability and team needs.
There will also be a $20 concession fee deposit for all divisions except the SweeTees division. You will have the opportunity to receive this deposit back by working a shift in the concession stand. Please keep in mind that the concession stand is one of the easiest ways for our league to raise money, but we do have to pay an annual fee to the county for the right to operate the concession stand ourselves. Please keep this in mind and help support our league by helping out in the concession stand.

Thank you for registering for the Spring Hill Dixie Fall 2020 season! We are looking forward to a great season of fun and learning.
Evaluations for all divisions will be held at 6:30 PM, on the following dates based on the division your daughter is playing in: (Please bring your bat, helmet (with attached facemask), and glove.)
- Darlings - Monday, August 31st, 2020
- Angels - Tuesday, September 1st, 2020
- Ponies - Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020
- Belles / Debs - Thursday, September 3rd, 2020
The SweeTees division will likely continue to be a weekly skills clinic and will meet on Wednesdays at 6PM and some Saturdays. Depending on the enrollment in this division, there may be some games scheduled. There is also the possibility of some games being played against a Brooksville League team. No evaluations will take place for this division. All players in this division will still receive a jersey. The SweeTees will first meet on Wednesday, September 9th.
For the remainder of the divisions, games and practices will be on the following days/times:
- Darlings - Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:00 PM.
- Angels - Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM.
- Ponies - Tuesdays and Fridays at 7:45 PM.
- Belles / Debs - Mondays and Thursdays at 7:45 PM.
- All divisions will have some practices / games on Saturdays!
- Rainout / Makeup games will be held on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays.
- There is also the possibility of some games being played against a Brooksville League team.
Practices will start on September 8th.
Opening Day ceremonies will be held on Saturday, October 3rd.
The regular season games will end on November 13th, with an end of season tournament being held the week of November 16th - 20th. This will likely be a standard single elimination tournament.
Please note Cancellation Policy: You will have until the last day of evaluations, September 3rd, to cancel with a full refund. After that, there will be no cancellation except in cases of illness or injury that prevent the player from participating.
