Hello Spring Hill Dixie Softball families,
Hopefully everyone had a great time over the holidays with their families. The past couple of years have been a very turbulent time thanks to the ongoing Covid-19 variations. The spring softball season is now fast approaching though! As a matter of fact, January 1st is the first day of registration online! Registration will be open until Saturday, January 29th. The registration fee for the Spring season is $40 for the SweeTees division and $100 for all other divisions. There are discounts available for additional girls in the same family. Please note: a late registration fee of $25 will be applied for all registrations completed after Wednesday, January 26th. A $3 transaction fee is also charged by our website provider as well for all registrations.
We can accept Visa and MasterCard as payment directly through the site. If you wish to pay with cash or check, please bring your payment to the evaluations that will take place on Saturday, January 29th.
Please note: If you sign up your daughter after evaluations have taken place for her assigned division, she will be assigned to a team based on space availability and team needs.
There will also be a $25 concession fee deposit for all divisions except the SweeTees division. You will have the opportunity to receive this deposit back by working a shift in the concession stand. Please keep in mind that the concession stand is one of the easiest ways for our league to raise money, but we do have to pay an annual fee to the county for the right to operate the concession stand ourselves. Please keep this in mind and help support our league by helping out in the concession stand.

Thank you for registering for the Spring Hill Dixie Spring 2022 season! We are looking forward to a great season of fun and learning.
Evaluations for all divisions will be held on Saturday, January 29th 2022, at the following times based on the division your daughter is playing in: (Please bring your bat, helmet (with attached facemask), and glove.)
- Darlings - at 8:00 AM
- Angels - at 1:00 PM
- Ponies (Ponytails) - at 10:00 AM
- Belles / Debs - at 3:30 PM
**The above times are subject to change depending on enrollment in each division. If the times change, an email will be sent out announcing the change.**
The SweeTees division is for 4 to 6 year old girls. Depending on the enrollment in this division, there may be some games scheduled similar to the fall season. If there is not enough enrollment, it will be operated as a weekly skills clinic. There is also the possibility of some games being played against a Brooksville League team. The SweeTees division meets on Wednesday's at 6 PM and some Saturdays. The focus is on learning how to play the game of softball, and the development of the fundamental skills needed. No evaluations will take place for this division. All players in this division will still receive a jersey. The SweeTees will first meet on Wednesday, February 2nd.
For the remainder of the divisions, games and practices will be on the following days/times:
- Darlings - Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:00 PM.
- Angels - Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM.
- Ponies (Ponytails) - Tuesdays and Fridays (possibly Wednesdays as well) at 7:45 PM.
- Belles / Debs - Mondays and Thursdays (possibly Wednesdays as well) at 7:45 PM.
- All divisions will have some practices / games on Saturdays!
- Rainout / Makeup games will be held on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays.
- There is also the possibility of some games being played against a Brooksville League team.
Practices will start on January 31st.
Opening Day ceremonies will be held on Saturday, March 5th.
The regular season games will end on May 20th with an end of season tournament being held the week of May 23rd - 27th. This will be a standard single elimination tournament.
Please note Cancellation Policy: You will have until the day of evaluations, January 29th, to cancel with a full refund. After that, there will be no cancellation except in cases of illness or injury that prevent the player from participating.
