From the many responses received from families facing scheduling conflicts in the fall season, it has become very clear to us that the landscape of soccer in the US has definitely changed.The traditional 2 evenings a week training and a weekend game, has significantly changed, with clubs now demanding that players must commit more time to their respective teams.

 While looking to support and collaborate with US Soccer’s youth policy, Next Gen USA have always subscribed to the developmental need for players to be challenged outside of their own environment. The best players in a team will invariably always be the best player in the same team, but will they be among the best when training or playing with the top players from other clubs? It appears many of you support our philosophy, and would like to attend our supplemental offering in the fall, but are clearly conflicted by a heavy club and school soccer schedule.

Therefore, it’s up to us to try to find a solution that suits everyone. Consequently, for this coming fall, instead of a 10-week commitment, we will have a “Like-with-Like” Games night, Once-a-Month for invited players only, at a minimal cost of just $39 per session!

The developmental purpose of this program is to offer each player the opportunity to come away from the comfort-zone of their own team environment once or twice over the entire fall season, and come together with other promising players in a challenging and inspirational learning environment.
