Almaden 8s seeded 6th after Saturday's games

On Saturday, July 8, the Almaden 8s mercy-ruled the Lincoln Glen Hooks 12-0 and dropped a 6-5 contest to the Lincoln Glen Golden Tanks. Those 2 scores resulted in the 6-seed (out of 14 teams) heading into Sunday's single-elimination bracket. The Almaden 8s open Sunday at 9am on QSLL's Majors Field against the 11-seed Pirates of Willow Glen LL. A win over the Pirates would most likely lead to a quarterfinal matchup against the host (3-seed) Quito-Saratoga at 1:30. The semis and finals are scheduled for 3pm and 4:30.
