Who We Are

Centred Basketball is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) youth basketball organization comprised of a dedicated group of men and women who are passionate about the development of youth basketball in the Centre Region. We are local educators, lawyers, financial and business professionals who love basketball and want to give back to the community and give the youth a central and well structured basketball program where players of all levels can learn and grow. We believe basketball is a teaching tool that helps athletes learn about themselves both on and off the court.

What We Do

We are focused on player development and offer camps, clinics, developmental leagues, travel teams, and other programs providing opportunities for athletes to learn and play at an appropriate level of competition. Whether they are brand new to basketball or have skills and experience to play at a high level of competition, our goal is to provide playing opportunities for every interested athlete in our program, regardless of ability. The whole player matters to us, which is why we place a heavy emphasis on grit, attitude, community, learning from success, failure, and hard work!

Why We Have a Passion

Youth basketball in State College needs a permanent home. There is a clear demand for basketball to be taught to every caliber of player in a way that is both instructional yet competitive. Our experienced, certified staff understand the game and want to coach kids the right way.
