JULY & AUGUST UPDATE: IMPORTANT DATES AND DETAILS

Welcome to the 2022 season of North Canton Youth Football!

The month of July is when we start to become busy preparing for the season, and we want to make you aware of what to expect over the next few weeks.This email contains everything you'll want to add to your calendars for the next few weeks! Additional details will continue to be sent out.

FLAG FOOTBALL (grades 2 & 3):
Rosters are being formed, and coaches will communicate with their respective rosters soon. Coaches will collect your child's preferred jersey # at that time. We've already collected your child's sizes during registration. 

TACKLE FOOTBALL (grades 4 - 7): 
Thank you to all who came to evaluations. We will draft teams later this month, and each head coach will contact you with your son's team assignment and details regarding when to pick up equipment and practice days, times and location. Please be patient as we go through this process. If you cannot make your assigned equipment day, you may pick up your equipment when you are in town afterward.

NORTH CANTON YOUTH INSTRUCTIONAL FOOTBALL CAMP will be held Monday July 25, Tuesday July 26th and Wednesday July 27th. This camp is facilitated by Hoover Football at Memorial Stadium each night. Camp is for grades 4-7. Please download the flyer and either mail to the address on the form, or bring with you on the first night of camp. Walk-ups are welcome.

On the last night of camp, July 27th, we hold the NCYFA Pass, Punt and Kick contest. This is open to anyone, in grades 2-7 regardless if they attend camp or not. Winners for each level will be awarded at the Annual Preview event on August 21st.

Also on the last night of camp, we hold a MANDATORY PARENT MEETING in the stands at Memorial Stadium. This year we are going to try to kick off that meeting by 7:00pm as the contest is winding down. We will cover what to expect this season, our code of conduct, and other important information during this meeting. Please make every attempt to attend.

AUGUST 20: NOYFC OFFICIAL WEIGH-INS AND SCRIMMAGES FOR "A" & "B"
AUGUST 21: NCYFA ANNUAL PREVIEW EARLY EVENING
AUGUST 27: WEEK 1 GAMES
