The Soaring Capital Soccer Club and Soccer Shots Binghamton have formally partnered to bring development programs to our club members, with a particular focus on programs for children ages 2-8, including our 1st co-branded program to be held this Winter on Tuesday evenings at The First Tee of Corning’s Winter Golf Academy located at the Arnot Mall, inside the old Macy’s store (we’ll be sending out additional information about our relationship with this organization and facility soon). Soccer Shots is an engaging soccer program specializing in soccer programs for children 2-8 with a focus on character development. In 2017, US Youth Soccer entered into a partnership with Soccer Shots, naming Soccer Shots “the official 2-5 year old soccer program of USYS” and encouraged Clubs like ours to enter into Strategic Alliances with local Soccer Shots Operations. Our specific alliance benefits SCSC by providing to SCSC programs and coaches expert in administering young child soccer development programs, opens doors to new potential club members by becoming a feeder program into our Club and provides co-marketing opportunities aimed at growing both organizations’ members.
We have initially identified development programs for 2-8 year olds, however, other programs, camps and ages may be added as we expand our relationship and grow together.
Winter Development Program: Details on our 1st program with Soccer Shots
Who: Children 2 through 8 years old interested in playing soccer and having fun
Age groups include Minis (2 and young 3 year olds), Classics (3-5 year olds), Premiers (6-8)
When: Tuesday evenings January 8 through March 5 for 9 weeks
Time: Minis: 4:30-5:00pm, Classics: 5:15-6:00pm, Premiers: 6:15-7:05pm
What: Weekly 30-50 minute sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of soccer. Additional details about each program and registration information can be found at the link below.
