Blue Devils prevail at Bloomsburg

The FC Amity Blue Devils 01 capped off an exciting spring season by placing first in the Bloomsburg University Showcase tournament on June 3-4.

The Blue Devils finished the round robin tournament with 2 wins and 1 draw, displaying solid defense and goalkeeping as they allowed no goals over the three games.

Saturday’s highlights included a 1-0 opening round win over FC Europa ‘01 Premier and a 0-0 draw against PA Classics Elite 02. Both opponents are ranked among the Top 30 in the PA East region.

The Blue Devils sealed the deal on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over the Reading Rage Red Bulls 01 in a game played in a soaking rain.
