Zachary Ross - Iron Eagle Coach
2012 Northern High School Graduate

I Started wrestling when I was four years old. I wrestled my entire youth/junior high and high school career as a Northern Polar Bear. I was a 3x District Qualifier. 2x PIAA state qualifier, coming short of placing my junior year and placing 5th my senior year and member of the PIAA 100 Win Club. I was a member of the PA Greco/Freestyle teams, as well as  being a  Fargo All-American in Greco.  I continued on to wrestle for a year and a half at Clarion University Of Pennsylvania at 149lbs. After college, I came home to work full time at H&H Sales Associates as an HVAC estimator. I have a 4 year old daughter Mya who loves being in the wrestling room watching me coach, and even taking part in some of the action.  I grew up with 3 brothers Jared, Marcus and Jonathan. Jared a PIAA State Qualifier wrestling at US Army Academy, Jonathan a 2x PIAA state placer, wrestling at Lock Haven University. I have a strong passion and upbringing as a wrestler by my parents Lori and Tony Ross who coached me at the youth level. I continued coaching along side Marat Tomaev at Iron eagle after college, from my previous experience as a member of Iron Eagle Club. The coaches at Iron Eagle had a huge impact on my wrestling abilities and always strived to help me better myself on and off that mat. My goal is to not only impact wrestlers at Iron Eagle on the mat but also in there everyday lives as a mentor and coach and to create opportunities for them to achieve the success that they work so hard for.

Jason Bonney - Assistant Eagle Room Coach

Coach Jason Bonney is a graduate of Boyertown High School.  At Boyertown, Jason was a state qualifier his senior year.  Following that year, he attended Rider University and wrestled for 4 years.  While at Rider, he earned his Degree in business and computer science.

After graduating college, Jason continued to be involved in the sport of wrestling.  He coached as a volunteer at various wrestling programs like Hughesville elementary, Cumberland Valley elementary, and Mechancisburg High School.    He then took some time off wrestling to concentrate on his computer networking company.  Many years later, he sold his computer company and went back to school for his MBA.  After successfully getting his MBA, he got involved with wrestling once again.  This time, he started helping local high school wrestlers on a one-on-one basis.  He also helped volunteer with the Cumberland Valley wrestling program.  He has coached the white and red elementary teams in the past.  He has also volunteered his time helping kids at the high school level when possible.

Jason with his wife, Dr. Teodora Bonney, have four kids all attending Cumberland Valley school district.  Dr. Bonney, who owns ‘Nbraces, is a continued sponsor of Cumberland Valley wrestling.
