2024 Fall Tackle Football

Overview: Tri-City Kings Youth Football & Cheerleading is a non-profit, community based program run by a board of volunteers that works to provide a safe and constructive environment for our East Bay youth. We take pride in developing young men and women into healthy and responsible adults through a focus on discipline, accountability, and pride. Our organization believes that instilling a strong work ethic into the youth of our community will ultimately lead to their success on the playing field and in life.

Location: Our Tri-City area expands to the cities of Fremont, Union City, and Hayward but can also accept players from other cities. Practices start in July  and are mandatory in order to get through our mandatory conditioning hours. Games are played from Aug - Nov at various locations throughout the north, east, south bay.

Divisions: Our youth tackle football program is broken out into teams based on age 8-14 years old. Meaning all youth on each team are placed within their age group. Our teams are 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U. The age cut-off is 7/31/2023. If you turn above the division age after that date, the league takes the discretion on where to place you based on a safety evaluation.

Football Equipment: Our league provides a helmet, shoulder pads, and game uniform. All participants are required to provide their own practice gear which is integrated padded pants, practice jersey, mouth piece, cleats. Players also must purchase a girdle. Players must wear these items to practice EVERYDAY!
League provides: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Game Day Uniform, Field Rental, Insurance, Referee Fees, Team Registration Fees, EMT, End of Season party/trophies, Amenities at each Home Game

Season Costs and Fundraising: The registration fee is $200 with a minimum of $250 fundraising during the season.

Volunteering: Our organization runs on volunteers. There are no paid positions and we believe that it takes a village to raise and mentor our youth. It is expected that each participant have a parent volunteer to volunteer for at least 3-5 volunteer activities per season. Volunteer activities include Game day duties such as Chain Gang, Field set up/takedown, MPR (minimum play rule tracking), Snack for after game and 1/2 time. Our team managers are well versed in all of the volunteer duties and will track, assign, and monitor volunteer duties. We cannot function or play without the commitment of parents to fulfill these duties.
