Tryout registration is now OPEN for Fall Recruiting Tournaments! We will be holding a tryout 6/23/19 at 4 pm at Kirkwood Soccer Club Field 14 for both Festival and Shooting Star.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE FALL, YOU WILL BE THE SAME AGE GROUP YOU WERE FOR THE LAST INDOOR SEASON. You do not move up until indoor. If you were a U14 last year, you are still a U14 until January/indoor.

We currently have a U16 and a U19 slot for Shooting Star (VA) and a U14 and a U16 slot for festival (FL).

Shooting Star is a well attended College Showcase event being held in Midlothian, VA.  Cost per player is $250 and does NOT include any travel cost.  This is the cost of the team fee and coach travel expenses.

USFHA National Field Hockey Festival is being held in Tampa, FL, this year.  Cost per player is $375 and does NOT include any travel cost.  This is the cost of the team fee and coach travel expenses.  This is a stay to play tournament, meanign accommodations MUST be booked as a team thru USFHA's travel partner.

Anticipated FAQ:

Why are the two so far apart in cost?  Team fee for Festival is significantly higher, as are the travel costs for the coach (airfare, rental car).

What if I am not sure which I want to attend?  Please register for BOTH. 

Am I able to split my festival registration payments?  Yes, a 2 payment plan will be available. 

Who is coaching each team?  Coaches have not yet been set for the teams.

Are non-Sharks able to try out?  Yes!
