Pontiac Junior Baseball Association Transition

Pontiac Junior Baseball Voted at their October Meeting to propose to the City of Pontiac transitioning the summer baseball and softball programs to the City.

At the second November City Council meeting the City of Pontiac agreed to take over the summer baseball and softball program.

Effective December 2022 the baseball and softball programs of Pontiac Junior Baseball Association will be run by the City of Pontiac. PJBA will assist the City with the transition through the end of the 2023 season and will operate in an advisory roll. After the 2023 season the PJBA will cease operations.

For 2023 registrations will be taken by the City at pontiacjuniorbaseball.com. Questions can be sent to the Pontiac Parks and Recreation Department or [email protected]

The City plans to run the program in essentially the same way PJBA has and to continue to serve the children of Pontiac and Livingston County.
