No one wants to see you do your best more than your mom. Athletes would not be the persons they are or the athlete they have become without their support. Moms deserve the greatest thank you for being there through all the years of athletics. Whenever we wanted to give up, they were the stern overseers to tell us to give it another chance. They were the one's who signed us up, got us to practices and games, and sacrificed their time and dollars to help us learn something more than just sport. Thank you to all athletes moms because without you we wouldn't be where we are nor the people we have become today. There is no one else we would want to have along with us for our crazy journey in the sports world.
Through the tears and anguish that we would share with her on car rides on our way home from an awful practice or meet, she would console us by telling us that it would be alright and that as long as we tried our best, that was all that mattered. As much as we were involved in a sport, our moms were just as involved. She knew our times and our goals. She knows what technical matters we would need to work on in practice to improve. When it comes down to it, she was our best friend and supporter.
Athletes are not athletes without their Moms, our most dedicated fans!!!!
