Eagle FC Thunder U12 Girls Win Jefferson Cup

The HMMS Eagle FC Thunder U12 girls’ team won the Championship (8v8) Division at the Jefferson Cup Tournament. The girls started with a late goal in their first game to defeat International Futbol Academy (NJ) 1-0, and then added a 3-2 win over Yankee United Flash (CT) to qualify for the semi-final. They posted a 2-1 victory over the Triangle FC Freedom (NC) to advance to the final, and after falling behind to the NVSC Majestic (VA) 0-1 on a muddy mess of a field, they scored two unanswered goals to secure a 2-1 victory and the Championship!!!
