2024 Spring Little League

To play at Wayne Little League, players must either reside in Wayne or go to school in Wayne. Players from other towns who do not have a little league in their town may also play at our league with approval via little league forms.

Please note that your child's little league age is not necessarily their actual age. Per Little League rules, your child's little league age is the age your child will be on August 31, 2024.

BASEBALL PROGRAM CHOICES

Spring 2024 Tee-Ball – Recreational League. Players ages 4 to 6 may register. All players will use a tee and a soft ball as an introduction to little league baseball. Players will be assigned into teams by the league prior to the start of the Spring season. Players may request to be on a friend's team and we will try to honor such requests when possible. Each team will have a manager/coach. Games will take place at the Wayne Little League fields. Generally, one weekday game and one weekend game shall be scheduled. Practices may be scheduled by manager. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat and socks. Cost: $75

Spring 2024 Single A Minors Baseball – Recreational League. Players ages 5 to 7 may register. This is a coach pitch division with a softer baseball. Players will be assigned into teams by the league prior to the start of the Spring season. Players may request to be on a friend's team and we will try to honor such requests when possible. Each team will have a manager/coach. Games will take place at the Wayne Little League fields. Generally, one weekday game and one weekend game shall be scheduled. Practices may be scheduled by manager. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat and socks. Cost $95

Spring 2024 Double A Minors Baseball – Recreational League. Players ages 7 to 9 may register. Unlike Single A Minors, a softer ball is not used in this division. This is a coach pitch division. Players will be assigned into teams by the league prior to the start of the Spring season. All 8 and 9 year old players must attend a skills evaluation tryout. Players may request to be on a friend's team and we will try to honor such requests when possible. Each team will have a manager/coach. Games will take place at the Wayne Little League fields. Generally, one weekday game and one weekend game shall be scheduled. Practices may be scheduled by manager. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat and socks. Cost $95

Spring 2024 AAA Baseball – Recreational League. Players ages 7 to 10 may register. All players will be assigned into teams by the league prior to the start of the Spring season using a skills evaluation tryout and a draft. Each team will have a manager/coach. This is a player pitch division. Games will take place at the Wayne Little League fields. Generally, one weekday game and one weekend game shall be scheduled. Practices may be scheduled by manager. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat and socks. Cost $140

Spring 2024 Majors Baseball – Recreational League. Players ages 10 to 12 may register. All players will be assigned into teams by the league prior to the start of the Spring season using a skills evaluation tryout and a draft. Each team will have a manager/coach. Games will take place at the Wayne Little League fields. This is a player pitch division. Generally, one weekday game and one weekend game shall be scheduled. Practices may be scheduled by manager. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat and socks. Cost $140

Spring 2024 Juniors Baseball - Players ages 13 to 15 may register. Teams will travel to other towns. All players will be assigned into teams by the league prior to the start of the Spring season. Each team will have a manager/coach. Teams will play with other Spring Little League teams from Wayne and other neighboring towns. Games will take place at various fields. This is a player pitch division. Practices may be scheduled by manager. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants hat and socks. Cost $155

Spring 2024 Challengers on Saturdays - Players ages 4 to 18 may register (up to age 22 if enrolled in school). This is a fun program that is for players with intellectual or physical challenges. It will meet on Saturday mornings. The program will take place at the Wayne Little League fields. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat and socks. Cost: NONE

Spring 2024 Senior Challengers on Saturdays - Players ages 18 and up with no maximum age may register (up to age 22 if enrolled in school). This is a fun program that is for players with intellectual or physical challenges. It will meet on Saturday mornings. The program will take place at the Wayne Little League fields. Players will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat and socks. Cost: NONE
