Granada Little League Claims 8/9/10 Section Championship

After being held to one hit for four innings, District 57's Granada Little League rallied for 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning on a two out 2 run double and held on for a 2-0 had fought victory over a very game Pacifica American Little League.

PALL defeated GLL 8-0 in the first round of the Championship Series to force the "What-if-Game', while GLL sent PALL into the Elimination Bracket, beating them 7-5 in the opening game of the tournament.

PALL had won three consecutive Elimination Bracket Games before losing in the final game of the tournament.

GLL advances to the 2018 Nor Cal State Tournament in Palo Alto. GLL drew the bye and will play the winner between Sections 5 & 6 on July 22nd at Middlefield Ballpark, 3672 Middlefield Road, at 10:00 am.

District 14 congratulates Granada Little League on winning the 2018 CA Section 3 8/9/10 All Star Tournament and wishes them the Best of Luck in the Nor Cal State Tournament.
