6U - Juniors Division

We are excited to offer the 6U Juniors division to our Scott Carrigan families! The Juniors Division will serve as a transition between 6U (T-ball) and our 8U (Rookie) divisions. Players will hit off of the pitching machine at a slower speed (33mph vs. 44mph in Rookies) and from a shorter distance (36 feet vs. 46 feet in Rookies), and will play defense much like the older divisions do with some small differences to speed up play (one base on over throw, 7 runs per inning, "timeout from infield" rule, etc.).  

This division will be made up of mostly 6 year olds and any experienced/advanced 5 year olds.  There will be an evaluation to ensure that players are ready and prepared to participate safely and to facilitate a draft process. We will be inter-leaguing with Wrigley Field Baseball & Softball Association, Highlands, and Florida Flex.
