Hi everyone we are excited for the upcoming 2018 summer baseball/softball season.
    
     We will have online registration as well as payments plans available online starting January 21st through 9pm on March 2nd. There will also be in person registration at The Dwelling Place Church (111 North Adams St) on Saturday February 3rd, 10th and 17th from 12pm-4pm. As in the past there will be a $5 discount for early registration (online Jan 21st - Feb 3rd, in person Feb 3rd).

Last year board members along with some wonderful local baseball families worked hard to make improvements to Haddix Field. Just a few things that were improved... new paint on dugouts and concession stand, new flooring installed by SHSS in the concession stand, fence repairs, improvements to the lights on field 2 as well as many other small projects. We plan on continuing these improvements this upcoming season with field 2 being regarded and soil being added to fight the flooding issues that have occurred in the past. There are other small improvements like purchasing catchers and umpire equipment that are also planned for this season.

Just a few reminders our park is considered a city park and as such there is no smoking or dogs permitted inside the park. Smoking is permitted in the gravel parking lot behind the concession stand and in the parking area beyond the railroad ties near IGA. 

Volunteers needed! The NCBSA board consists of 7 members that work hard to provide a great place for local kids to learn and play baseball/softball. Not only do these individuals volunteer their time running the organization but they also coach teams and have multiple children of their own who play for the league. Just like you they enjoy being able to watch their children play and need your help by volunteering in the concession stand. 

One last thing. We are always looking for coaches and sponsors. So if you or someone you know would like to help teach the kids an amazing sport or sponsor a team please contact a board member. You can also find forms for both coaches and sponsors right here on the website!
