Letter from RDLL President
My name is Jim Thill. I am honored to be the new President of Rainier District Little League for the 2026 season. This will be my 5th year as an RDLL volunteer. I have been a coach every year and a board member for the previous two seasons. My son Benjamin will be a 12 year old playing Majors baseball this year.
Little League baseball meant a lot to me as a kid and I am glad to pay it forward to all of the kids who sign up to RDLL.
RDLL had more than 600 kids across 50 teams play tee ball, baseball or softball for the Spring 2025 season. I’d like to thank everyone that volunteered with the league, coached a team, umpired a game, figured out how to keep score in GameChanger (while a game was being played) or brought snacks. I am sure you are tired of your children thanking you for all that you do but please know that the RDLL Board also appreciates it.
I’d like to thank all of the local businesses and individuals that sponsored a team or donated money to RDLL. It is because of their generosity we are able to keep registration fees the same as 2025.
As the league grows we do need more help running the show. When you are signing up for the 2026 season, let us know you are interested in volunteering for either RDLL operational roles or as a head coach or assistant coach of a team.
You can also email me at [email protected] to let me know that you are interested in helping out.
