REGISTRATION NEWS

As our 2020 season is quickly approaching some key dates are coming up. In order for us to prepare for a smooth opening to the season we ask that you register your child by no later than Feb 29th. This will give us ample time to order uniforms, have player evaluations for ages 7 and up , draft teams and have our coaches prepare to begin team practices as soon as possible. Please take note of the following dates and details:

February 29th- Last day to register without $50 late fee per player*

March 2nd and March 3rd- Player evaluations - Location and times TBD

Late March- Outdoor team practices begin

April 1st- Softball season starts! **

April 18th- Opening Day parade and Picture Day! ***

* Note that all players must be registered in order to attend evaluations. Any player age 7 and up who is not evaluated will not be a part of the draft. Instead they will be randomly assigned to a team. This is being done to ensure a fair draft for all teams.

**Softball players - It is imperative that your are registered ASAP. Not only to avoid late fees, but also due to the earlier start to the season.

*** For any parent concerned about conflicts with DP Soccer ( Intramural ages 4-8)- We have coordinated with the soccer program to avoid game conflicts as best possible so that your child can still participate in both sports. We have confirmed with DP Soccer that they will not have any intramural games on 4/18 to allow us to enjoy opening day without anyone having to choose between the baseball festivities and a soccer game.
