Four Internationals SC Standouts Attend ODP National Training Camp

Four Internationals SC players, Kennedy Alberty, Skylar Cornell, Avery Gillahan, and Riley Kerber, were part of the 2018 US Youth Soccer ODP Girls National Training Camp in Phoenix, Arizona from January 25-30.  The event took place at Reach 11 Sports Complex, the largest soccer complex in Arizona and one of the largest in the western United States.

“We are extremely happy that our members are getting well-earned and deserved opportunities to continue to grow and develop to be the best they can be," Internationals SC Founder, President, and Director of Coaching Zdravko Popovic commented. “The recent ODP camp is a testament to this and there are others on the horizon to follow the footsteps of their older club ‘sisters.’ We do all we can to nourish club culture that is based on family values and principles of ‘one for all and all for one’ on and off soccer field.  We are so happy and proud of everyone.”

Players trained twice a day with 11v11 games taking place on the last day.

The goal of this developmental camp is to train the players within environments allowing them to grow in the interpretation and understanding of the game, including problem solving and self-reflection.  Upon completion of the camp, the goal for each player is to depart with identifiable tools for their "toolbox" to interpret, understand, and solve problems in any environment they are in.
