CSU Women’s Soccer Head Coach Dallas Boyer Joins Girls Coaching Staff

Internationals Soccer Club is proud to announce that current Cleveland State University women’s soccer head coach Dallas Boyer has joined the girls coaching staff at Internationals SC.

"I'm excited to join such an accomplished and respected group of coaches here with Internationals in a club that I've already considered family having played for and then coached on the boy's side of the club for the last 20 years,” Boyer said. “It's another great opportunity for me to work with coaches and players that are committed to training and competing at the highest level possible within a culture that best prepares them for the next steps in their development.  The people and the values that have made Internationals such a special force in soccer here in Northeast Ohio for decades have been a big part of my own development first as a player and now as a coach, so to be a part of that and help continue its growth is a great honor."

Boyer brings extensive experience, including over 12 years of coaching at the collegiate level, to Internationals SC.

“Dallas Boyer has been an integral part of the Internationals family for over two decades and we are blessed to now welcome him as a member of the girls coaching staff,” Internationals SC President, Founder, and Director of Coaching Zdravko Popovic said. “He shares our club’s values and vision regarding long-term player development and teaching life lessons though the game of soccer. I know our players are in good hands with Dallas’ guidance.  His passion for teaching the game and guiding young people on and off the field is remarkable.”

Boyer, who has earned both the USSF "C" coaching license and an NSCAA Regional Goalkeeper Diploma, started his coaching career with Internationals Boys and Internationals DA in 2006 and continued as a member of their staff through 2018.  He also served as director and coach for the Puma Elite Powered by Arsenal training program from 2014 to 2018.  He started as an assistant coach for women’s soccer at CSU in 2007 and continued in that role until 2017 when he was promoted to head coach.

“We cannot be more thrilled to be welcoming Dallas to our amazing group of staff coaches,” Internationals SC Director of Coaching Keri Sarver said. “He is a true team player who puts the players and club needs first.  I have always respected Dallas’ attention for detail and teaching the technical side of the game as well as his ability to read and analyze the game. He is a caring coach who is amazing at connecting with players and we love the passion and energy that he brings to each session.  I have no doubt that he will make an immediate, positive impact on our players, teams, and the entire club.”

As head coach, Boyer has been at the helm for the two best seasons in program history.  In 2018 the Vikings won the most conference and most overall games, finishing the highest in the regular season standings and reaching the Horizon League Tournament championship game for the first time in program history.
