Welcome to the 2024 Season

TriBoro Nation,
Registration is now open………Take advantage of the Early Bird Discount……
Welcome to the 2024 season! Work has been underway over the last few months as we prepare for another exciting year of Little League Baseball and Softball. The purpose of this email is to share important dates and information leading up to our opening day parade. But first, TriBoro Little League would like to welcome our newest member Monica Galiano (Secretary), Ryan Martinez (Safety Officer), Robert Woodcock (Softball Assistant VP), Ryan McMahon and Jeff Truskowski (Fields and Equipment), Brandon Bridges (Treasurer) to the Board. There have also been a few board position changes we would like to acknowledge, congratulations to Steven Clegg (VP of Baseball), Joshua Ponczek (Player Agent), Marco Margotta (Coach Coordinator) and Gino Olimpio (President). Thank you to the outgoing board members for all the hard work and dedication they gave over the years. Its because of your efforts we are in great shape to start off the 2024 season.
We would also like to welcome all the new Triboro Troopers Travel Teams. Your new Home at Anderson field is ready and waiting…..
As a direct result of the support we receive through fundraising, and last years hard work this years project list will include.
Anderson Field-
Clearing out some of the wooded area around the center field outfield to move the bleachers from the parking lot into. Which would open up some more parking spaces and give the visiting teams a better view of the game.
New Base Pad liners in both the 46/60 and 50/70 field which are currently broken.
Field Clay for MBD and Delazier
Correction of the mound on Small Delazier and repair of Mound at Big Delazier.
Walter T Bergen
We are currently in the process of providing power to the softball field via the shed, We have been given approval by the board and the school to move forward with providing power to the shed.
Our big ticket item will be to install a new scoreboard at the Walter T Bergen Field.
We are committed to improving the fields and facilities each year and all the support we receive allows us the opportunity to do so.
In 2023, you notice when you register for Baseball, that the 8-year-olds are now in Minors Baseball. That is not an error. This will remain the same in 2024.
TriBoro made the decision to align our baseball divisions with Little League International and move the 8’s up. NO CHANGES TO THE T-BALL and SOFTBALL AGES. As a reminder the age determination date for a LL Baseball player is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the current year. The age determination date for a LL Softball player is the actual age of a child on December 31 of the previous year. The Little League age chart can be found here: League Age Determination - Little League
Our Current baseball divisions for TriBoro Little League will be structured as such:
Instructional (Coach Pitch / Machine Pitch) 6 & 7’s
Minors 8-9 &10’s
Majors 11 & 12’s
Juniors 13 & 14’s
Seniors 15 & 16’s (work on a modified schedule due to high school games)

Please make every attempt to get your player to the evaluations to they can be scored correctly, as well as keeping the draft fair.
