Summer Season Decision

With the latest announcement from our Governor, it's time for YOU to make some decisions. We're here for you & we are eager to PLAY once able, but understand that is not what everyone wants/can do. (This will be a little long but please read it all carefully!)

Choice 1: STAY! KEEP WAITING! Baseball fields & league play (gatherings of more that 10) are still a NO under Phase 1 of Gov Sisolak's latest directive. We are still hopeful that it WILL become a possibility as we wait this out. Our intention is to play as soon as we're given the okay! This may result in new team assignments, as others may choose to tap out. To prepare for this, we have already begun collecting rosters from team managers so we can be as prepared as possible once the green light comes. If play has not been approved by Monday JULY 6th we will call it a loss & cancel it all. This will be an abbreviated season through the end of July, with as many games per week as the schedule will allow.

Choice 2: TAP OUT! If you're ready to be done waiting it out or you have plans that would make it difficult to have a June/July season, we understand. If you choose to tap out, you have a few additional choices to make.
----A: Refund your fees. We will issue you a refund check.
----B: Hold your fees over to next season. We will keep a log of those who are 'paid for' at next year's spring registration. At check out you'll let us know you've made this choice & we'll verify it against out log & call it good without you paying fees next Spring.
----C: Donate your fees to the league. We have already spent several thousands of dollars in preparation for this season - most of it is unrecoverable - especially if the season is entirely cancelled. Without the snack bar or fundraiser revenue we will have no incoming cash this year to replace what has already been spent. If you're willing, we would be very appreciative for the donation to help us recover & not leave us in a challenging financial situation.
----D: Partial refund/partial donation - just let us know how much of a refund you'd like & we'll make it happen.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU ASAP:
Please send an email to [email protected]

We need to receive this email from EVERY SINGLE PLAYER ASAP! Please help us reach all our league members by sharing this post. Many have chosen to unsubscribe from league emails over the years, or have not given us a good email address, so we can't reach everyone via email. We look forward to hearing from you & thank you for being patient as we all navigate this uncertain time. We're trying our best to still offer as much of a season as this situation will allow. It won't look like what we're all used to, but hopefully it will still be great.

****MANAGERS****
Thank you to those who returned your team rosters this morning. If you did not, PLEASE RETURN THEM next Saturday, May 16, 10:00am-1:00pm in our TBall fields parking lot. If you have not handed out team hats yet, please bring them, too. We cannot yet accept your gear bags, as the complex is locked up & we cannot access our storage. Once able, we will accept those returns.

THANK YOU!!! We cannot wait to see everyone again!
