Hello baseball fans! A reminder that the deadline for registration for the 2022 season is Sunday, April 17th. If you need any financial assistance, please reach out. We want all children to have the chance to play if they want to!
Here are some dates to keep in mind for the next few weeks -
Friday April 8th - Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser 4:30-7pm

Ticket sales 4:15-6 (need a few to do the meal tickets and raffle tickets)
Ticket sales 5:45-7
Kitchen help 3:30-5 and 5-7
Clean up 7-8
We have a 50/50 raffle for the supper and we recently announced our ticket fundraiser. These are $20 a ticket with the drawing to be held on opening day.

Saturday April 9th - Marching in River Rat Parade. Any and all youth sports participants invited to wear your sports shirt (from any sport season) and march with us in the parade!
The parade lineup will begin at 8:15AM. We will announce the division we are in on Facebook once confirmed & send out another email. Parade to start around 9:35am. Please join us!
Assessment Day April 10th. We are hoping to hold this at the Silver Lake Fields. We will send out final confirmation on Saturday night. We are asking that all coaches who are interested in coaching to please attend. There will be a meeting at 12pm with all coaches if you can make it.
We strongly encourage all Minor and Major league players to attend this assessment. No child will be turned away, this will help us place players on appropriate teams.
Coach Pitch 9-10am Minor League 10-11am Major League/ Softball 11-12pm
Tuesday, April 12th - 7pm American Legion - We will be having a meeting to discuss team assignments. We are asking that all coaches attend if possible to start to review teams / expectations. We are still looking for a few more coaches for Coach Pitch and Minor League. Please reach out ASAP if interested.
Teams will start to be formed and contacted the week after registration ends.
Sunday, April 24th—Make up day for Minor/Major league. Time and location TBD.
OPENING DAY CHANGED TO May 7th at James H. Salevan Field in Athol (Behind the American Legion).We are hoping to have a parade starting at 9am from the Athol YMCA, down main street, turning down exchange street and go directly to the field. We will have opening day ceremonies and we are hopeful to play a few minor/major league games that day as well. Coach Pitch games will start on May 8th. All are encouraged to join us May 7th for opening day activities.
