Pop Warner Spirit squads are full year, participating from August 1 to July 31.

Tryouts of any kind within Pop Warner are prohibited.

The Pop Warner football playing season begins August 1. The squads prepare and participate for Game Days and compete at their League Championships. The Eastern Region Championships are held the first and second weekends in November.  The National Championships are in December at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney World.

Following the championships, there is an opportunity from January 1 to March 31 for teams to restructure for the remainder of the current season. Teams are encouraged to compete at YCADA Globals, JAMZ National and JAMZ Challenge as well a non-affiliated competitions. 

The ages of all spirit participants in the program shall correspond to the overall ages that the League is permitting for players, unless League rules dictate that the ages of the spirit squad shall correspond to the playing ages of the team with which they are associated.
