Join our Board for 2018-2019 Season!

President Chief administrator of the league, ultimately accountable for league operations, local rules, league vitality, communications, financial solvency, sponsor/community relations, etc., in addition to being the point of contact for LL Int’l at the District, State and National Level. The one thing a President can’t do is manage a tournament team unless provided a waiver for specific circumstances.
Secretary The secretary maintains a register of members and directors, records the minutes of meetings, is responsible for securing meeting locations and filing appropriate paperwork, sending out notice of meetings, and recording league activities. The secretary also documents formal updates to the organization’s bylaws.
Treasurer The treasurer dispenses league funds as approved by the board of directors, reports on the status of league funds, keeps local league books and financial records, prepares budgets, submits required tax returns, and assumes the responsibility for all local league finances.
VP Baseball The VP Baseball is ultimately accountable for the success of our baseball program. They oversee T-Ball through Majors by establishing guidelines for level of play at each division (working with coaching coordinator), ensuring all fields and equipment are maintained appropriately, and by being the person in charge when questions/needs are specifically raised about baseball. In addition the VP baseball is responsible for the annual inventorying of equipment, gaining budget approval from the board to purchase new equipment, and for ordering all baseball uniforms and distributing them. The VP Baseball has a division coordinator at each level on the auxiliary board for support in carrying out these tasks.
VP Softball The VP Softball is ultimately accountable for the success of our softball program. They oversee minis, minors, majors and senior by establishing guidelines for level of play at each division (working with coaching coordinator), ensuring all fields and equipment are maintained appropriately, and by being the person in charge when questions/needs are specifically raised about softball. In addition the VP Softball is responsible for the annual inventorying of equipment, gaining budget approval from the board to purchase new equipment, and for ordering all baseball uniforms and distributing them. Lastly, the VP Softball has an additional task of building the softball rosters in partnership with the Player Agent. The VP Softball has a division coordinator at each level on the auxiliary board for support in carrying out these tasks.
Coaching Coordinator Represents coaches/managers in league; sources coaching volunteers as needed; ensures background check paperwork is submitted by every coach; gains the support and funds necessary to implement a league-wide training program; orders and distributes training materials to players, coaches and managers; coordinates mini-clinics as necessary; works closely with the VPs and Player Agent.
Player Agent The player agent conducts annual tryouts, is in charge of team rosters, assists the president in checking birth records and eligibility of players, and establishes and oversees the annual player skills rating system and reporting to feed the next year’s placements and help ensure equal teams. The Player Agent is ultimately responsible for transmitting all player data to LL Int’l, which sets our annual charter fees and all star player/team eligibility.
Safety Officer– Safety Plan, First Aid & Field/Facilities only The safety officer coordinates all safety activities including supervision of ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program), sets up the safety training at the coaches meeting, ensures safe playing conditions in the fields, coordinates reporting and prevention of injuries, solicits suggestions for making conditions safer, and reports suggestions to Little League International through the ASAP system. In addition, the Safety Officer oversees any safety fixes needed on Field Days, and supplies each shed with necessary ice and first aid kits.
Sponsorship Coordinator Solicits and secures local sponsorships to support league operations by maintaining relationships with 30+ organizations and designing sponsorship packages each year, then following through on the delivery of benefits to the sponsor. Keeps record of sponsorship monies and delivers to treasurer or president for regular deposits. Also coordinates with the VPs so that sponsors are matched with teams by the uniform ordering deadline date. Orders all sponsor thank you gifts (plaques) at end of season and distributes them.
Babe Ruth Coordinator Oversees nearly all of Babe Ruth operations with the exception of these things provided by the WLL infrastructure: managing registrations & funds, filing/reporting the appropriate financial info to IRS and the board, conducting volunteer background checks.
Communications Officer The information officer manages the league's official webpage, manages the online registration process and ensures that league teams and important game info is maintained on the site. Posts and distributes important information on League activities to the families and public via the website, Facebook, Email, School Bell and Observer; serves as primary contact person for Little League regarding optimizing use of the Internet for league administration, for sharing information and for creating a more enjoyable and efficient Little League experience.
