MD-8 Takes Little League State Title!

The Maryland Little League State Tournament concluded last night with a big win by District 8, Delmar Little League.  Delmar went undefeated through the tournament with phenomenal pitching and aggressive base-running.

The tournament was a great success as hosted by Maryland District 2 and Brunswick Railroader Little League.  All teams enjoyed their games and their time at the site.

Delmar now moves on to Little League Regional Tournament action in Bristol, CT.  If successful at Regionals, they will head south to Stallings Stadium in Greenville, South Carolina, where the Little League Softball World Series will be held at from August 11th to 18th.
