Coaching Staff
Juniors Director, Etienne Boulanger
The Juniors program has a Full time director, who is supported by regional and age group directors who help manage the coaches, players and program to ensure a high quality offering for families in the Triangle area. Our players get to work with passionate and experienced coaches who are paid for their ability to teach young players and share their love for the game. Click here to see our full Juniors Coaching staff.
Evaluations
All players interested in playing in our Juniors program must attend our annual evaluations. Juniors Evaluations or the 2021-2022 season have concluded. Please reach out to Juniors Director, [email protected], if interested in a mid-season evaluation.
Evaluations
Team Formation
Players will be offered a spot in the program following the evaluations in June this year. Fall teams will be formed at the end of August after our staff has had time more time to evaluate all players and place them on a team with other players of similar ability. Players will be placed in the appropriate level in which teams are balanced to provide competitive games every week.
New teams will be formed after the winter holidays for the Spring season to allow for players to be placed in an environment where they will keep getting challenged by the coaching staff and their teammates.
Junior Elite Teams
Top 2012 players identified at Junior Evaluations will be invited to the Junior Elite teams. Juniors Elite Teams will be formed in each region depending upon quality of players at Evaluations and the Director's discretion.
These teams will function similar to a 2011 Classic team:
• Train 3x week
• Have team managers, team fees,
• Attend 2 tournaments
Trainings & Seasons
Juniors is a 9-month program made up of 3 seasons: fall, winter, and spring.
Fall (August-beginning of November) and Spring (February-May)
Fall and Spring are the primary seasons for the Juniors program. Juniors players train twice a week 90 minutes each training session.
Winter (December & January)
A total of 4 training sessions and 2 play dates will be scheduled during the Winter season. Training sessions are reduced in order to allow our young players the downtime to recharge and try-other activities or sports.
