FNWLL Player Evaluations

We hold player evaluations for two reasons: 1) to assess the skill level of players for placement on a team at an appropriate league level to foster success, and 2) to evaluate 10, 11, and 12 year old candidates for the Major League draft. We will be able to answer any questions you have about player evaluations during registration, but here are the basics.Player Evaluations are mandatory for:

An evaluation group as designated by the FNWLL board will determine potential playing levels for 7, 9, 10, and 11 year olds. Parent requests for playing below expected playing levels need to be discussed with the player agent before team assignments are complete.

All 12, 11, and 10 year-olds who did not play last season on a FNWLL Major Leage team, those players that player previously at the Majors level that want to re-enter the draft, 9 year olds who wish to be evaluated to move up to the AAA leve, and 7 year-olds who wish to move up to the AA playing level need to complete player evaluations.
