Joe Brown’s success is deeply rooted in soccer development and executive leadership. Credentialed with an “A” license from the US Soccer Federation, Joe coached for 15 years in the United Soccer League (USL), a professional men's soccer league, 11 of them with the Carolina Dynamo and four with the Delaware Wizards. In 1999 the Carolina Dynamo advanced further than any other team in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup before bowing out of the tournament to the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer (MLS). Brown has coached over 50 professional players that played in Europe, Major League Soccer (MLS), USL, MISL and NASL. Including 30 MLS Draft picks with four players selected in the First round of the MLS Super Draft. Currently in his 7th season at the helm of Padua Academy's women's soccer program he holds Delaware State Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016. In 2016 Brown's Padua Academy team finished undefeated, winning their fifth consecutive State Championship and finishing 2nd in the NSCAA Final National Poll. To date, during Coach Brown's tenure at Padua he has already coached four All-Americans and two Gatorade players of the year.
