Fall Street Hockey Frequently Asked Questions

Q. When will the 2017 Fall Season start?
A. The season will start in September and run through early November.

Q. When are the games played?
A. Teams will play two games during the week.

Q. Where are the games played?
A. All games are played at Boynton Park in Port Reading

Q. When will my team practice?
A. The coaches for each team set their own practice schedule.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The registration fee is $90 each for the first two children, $20 for the third child, and any other children are free.

Q. What's included in the registration fee?
A. The registration fee includes a uniform (jersey and pants), a trophy/participation award at the end of the season, about 10 games, and practices.

Q. What do I need to provide?
A. All players must wear:

full hockey helmet with full facemask
hockey gloves
hockey shinguards
hockey stick with butt end

Q. When will I find out what team I am on?
A. We will notify parents in September. You will be contacted by your team's coach.

Q. Can I request to play for a certain coach or with certain players?
A. Yes. There is a special request section on the online registration form where you can ask to play for a certain coach or with certain players. For in-person registrations, please write in the request on the bottom of the form. We do our best to honor as many requests as possible, but do not make any guarantees.

Q. What division will my child play in?
A. There are four divisions:

Pre-School (4 years old) through 2nd Grade
3rd grade - 5th Grade
6th Grade - 8th Grade
High School
