The above information will assist you in preparing your athlete for participation in T-Birds Football & Cheer. The documents contain information about pre-season training and sports nutrition/hydration. We are providing you this information so that you have resources to help your athlete prepare for and better manage the potential impact resulting from intense physical activity. Although your young athlete has been cleared to participate by your family physician, you need to be aware of how your athlete is performing and feeling during the course of the season. On a daily basis, proper hydration and nutrition is essential. Changes in temperature can greatly impact their daily requirements. Please review this information and always consult your physician or a certified nutritionist or athletic trainer if you have specific questions about your athlete and the application of these recommendations.
