Week 8

In week eight Smithfield Packers Youth Sports traveled to York Middle School to face the York Seaford Falcons. In 6U action the contest was a stalemate at 12-12, while the 8U/10/12U teams won by scores of 38-14, 13-0, and win via forfeit. The 8U team improved their record to 8-0, while the 12U improved to 6-2. There was a bonus 12U game (non-conference) against old time rivals the VA Beach Mustangs which saw the Packer 12U squad fall.

The Packers will return home to the Luter Sports Complex next week to host the Gloucester Knights beginning at 8:30AM - this will be their last regular season home game, and is also Senior Day for our graduating student-athletes. Smithfield Packers Youth Sports is a proud member of the Peninsula Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization.
