Lance Berry

Appoquinimink HS Varsity Assistant Coach

Lance was a four-year starter at Wilmington University and earned All- American accolades his senior year. He was named CCA Division II Second Team All-American, CCA Division II First Team All-East Region, NSCAA Second Team All-East Region & First Team All-CACC his senior year. He led the region in total points with a total of 44 (15 goals, 14 assist) in 2015. He is currently 2nd in all time Goals and Points for Wilmington University all time leaders list. He is also 3rd for total assist.

In High School Lance played soccer at Caravel Academy as a midfielder under coaches John Berry and Thomas Wiley – helped lead the team to the State Championship in 2010, going 16-3 overall – was named Top 11 in Delaware, earning him First Team All-State as a senior – named to the Third Team All-State as a junior.

Lance has decided to stay involved with soccer by coaching both boys at Appoquinimink HS and girls at Delaware Union. In 2016 he was the assistant varsity coach at Appoquinimink High School and helped lead the team to not only a Blue Hen Conference title but a state final appearance as well and finishing the season with an overall record of 15 wins and 3 losses.

Lance has been a part of the USFT family for over 8 years now, attending the camps in high school and coaching as soon as he started to play college. He’s apart of the USFT staff throughout the year and will be coaching at all residential and day training camps.

DC has coached 10 years with club, Assistant Men's and Women's Soccer Coach Caesar Rodney High School. 2012 Delaware High School Soccer Association Large School Assistant Coach of the Year. Coach Lavender Coached 5 years with DE ODP, 2 years as a Head Coach/ 3 years Assistant Coach. Staff coach for USFT soccer camps, coach for Philadelphia Union Summer Select. Coach Lavender currently holds a USSF C License and a is NSCAA GK certified. Coach Lavender was selected All Conference three times and achieved All-State Honors as a prep player for Middletown and Glasgow High schools. He played collegiate soccer at Wesley College, an ECAC Finalist in 2004. Played and was captain of Kirkwood Cannons and Power USYSA Regional semifinalists and finalists. Coach Lavender has been a physical and health educator for Caesar Rodney School District for 11 years. He also has a Masters Degree in Sport Administration for DSU.

Coach Tucker brings expertise on organizational programming and Coaching to Coastal Atlantic Futbol Club. Josh’s experience as a director for YMCA, CDSA, and his commitment to develop young players for the Delaware Union Soccer Club make him a true asset for our Zone 2 Players. Coach Tucker holds a National C License from US Soccer and will continue his coaching pathway. While he creates functional training programs for all sports at DE TURF Complex and continues growing and developing young players for the Delaware Union, Josh will work with our Zone 2 players to enhance their opportunities for the next level in their player pathway. Tucker has coached at the ODP, Club levels. He has been a staff coach for USFT SPORTS for the past three years training many high school teams during training camp season. Josh also is a staff coach with the Youth Sports Institute of Delaware which works with recreational players on their transition to travel soccer. As a player, Coach Tucker was selected all conference and all state at Dover High School.

Adam Dolbey

Adam graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 2007 with Henlopen All Conference and All State recognition in his junior and senior years. He graduated from McDaniel College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with minors in Business Administration and Mathematics while playing all four years on the varsity soccer team. He is currently attending Wilmington University to work towards a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Information Systems.

Adam began his coaching career working at various soccer camps throughout college. Upon graduation, he started coaching with recreational teams at CDSA and with the junior varsity team at Caesar Rodney High School.

In 2012, Adam moved to Lexington, South Carolina. He quickly found a coaching position at a local club   as well as a nearby high school. For two years, he worked with the U-13 Boys team at Liverpool FC America in Lexington, South Carolina and the junior varsity program at Gilbert High School.

In 2014, Adam moved back to Delaware. He continued working with Caesar Rodney High School and assisted with the team that made it to the state finals. In 2015, he began working with Delaware Union. Between 2015 and 2017, Adam coached various groups from U11 to U14 Boy’s programs with Delaware Union.
