Flood South Girls Win GOLD and SILVER in State Games

U11 Girls bring home Gold and U10 Girls bring home Silver Medals. How serendipitous to have the opening ceremonies of the State Games be cancelled for first time in its 26th year history due to torrential rains and flooding . To the average spectator, the rain and mud and flooded fields would have wreaked havoc on any players confidence, however the Flood came to play and play well they did.  The U11 Girls cruised to the Gold Medal by outscoring opponents 16-2. The U10 Girls brought home the Silver Medal by making it to the finals only to lose a close fought battle to an opponent they had beaten in an earlier match.
