2018 See's Our SSAAK Chugiak 05 Girls Thunder Elite as Alaska State Soccer Champions !!

Congratulations to our own SSAAK Chugiak 05 Girls Thunder Elite Soccer Team on Winning the 2018 Alaska State Cup Championship this past weekend in Fairbanks.

Our girls fought a tough opponent in the final throughout regulation time and with 44 seconds remaining Olivia Dimmick cut inside her opponent and launched a shot towards goal when the goalie misplayed the shot and Sidney Barnt found space to thread the second ball opportunity and slot the ball in the left corner of the goal for the win.

Terrific job by our girls and their head coach Steve Day on a job well done.
