League Supports Play about 1st Female Pro Baseball Player

Commissioner Todd Moore was asked by the Unicorn Theatre to conduct a baseball skills clinic for the actors from the local production of "Toni Stone." Toni Stone was the first woman to play professional baseball for The Negro Leagues. This funny and fascinating story explores race, gender and the raw ambition required to achieve your dreams! The play runs through September 25 at the Unicorn Theatre at 3828 Main Street. Look for the same "ready position" and batting technique that your players learned in our league!
There are some adult themes and language in the play, so viewer discretion is advised.
