NEGYFC COVID-19 Update

NEGYFC Board members from across the League had a meeting online via Zoom earlier this month to discuss the 2020 Flag and Tackle Football Season and possible changes. We are closely monitoring the developments related to COVID-19 and following guidelines set by the CDC, local and state government, and GHSA.

NEGYFC is confident that we will have a 2020 season, however we may have to adapt a modified or postponed schedule for conditioning, practice, and game days depending on when certain restrictions are lifted. We will continue to hold off from all in-person activities. NEGYFC Board members will meet again later this month to further discuss registration, practice and game scheduling options. There are many options being considered, including opening up e-registration in the near future.

Please know that we will continue to plan for the 2020 season so that we are prepared to jump into action if and when given the all clear! Know that our primary focus continues to be the safety and health of our community. We will continue to share information as this situation continues to evolve. We encourage you to continue to follow social distancing recommendations as it's the best way right now to protect our family, friends, and neighbors.
