Marquez Williams, a 2017 NFL Draft pick and former Northeast Georgia Youth Football Conference (NEGYFC) Alum, is set to host a free Youth Football Camp for kids aged 5-13 in the Athens-Clarke community. The event is aimed at providing a fun experience for young participants while teaching them the proper fundamentals of football.

The camp will take place on June 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Virginia Walker Park. Williams, who grew up in Athens, is excited to give back to the community that helped shape his career. "I know how much of an impact youth sports can have on a child's life, and I want to give back in any way I can," he said.

Participants will receive instruction from Williams and other experienced coaches on various football skills such as passing, catching, and blocking. The event is free of charge and open to all interested children in the area.

Williams, who played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cleveland Browns in the NFL, hopes to inspire the next generation of football players and give back to his community through this event.
