The Police Athletic League is a youth activities program operated by deputies of Clay County Sheriff's Office and by dozens of volunteers.
Here are the program’s major goals:
Providing positive role models for youth
Developing discipline, self esteem and positive moral values through wholesome competition
Improving communication between law enforcement officers and the youth of our community
Why do kids need the Police Athletic League?
Many youth in our community grow up with no positive contact with law enforcement officers. This lack of positive contact breeds distrust and fear. PAL provides positive role models for our youth and a drug free atmosphere for youth to play and learn.
How Can You Help The Police Athletic League?
The Police Athletic League is a community effort involving the Sheriff's Office, volunteers, local businesses and area families. We encourage and appreciate participation and all donations of time or money.
