This mission statement is for Eastside Timbers Competitive program specifically, and should be read by all player and parents who are involved in the Competitive program. In addition to this mission statement Eastside has a Parent's/Player's Code of Conduct that outlines the club's expectations. It is important that all Competitive members understand both documents and adopt them as personal guidelines for developing a positive atmosphere within the club. It is the right of every player to enjoy the world's most popular sport without undue pressure from coaches or parents. By adhering to the Mission Statement and the Code of Conduct everyone can enhance their own and each others experiences through the sport of soccer.

Eastside Timbers is committed to providing and creating an environment in which players can reach their full potential while achieving the self-confidence and positive attitude necessary for success both on and off the field.

In the pursuit of EXCELLENCE Eastside emphasizes the development of individual skills and team concepts the enable each player and team to be the best they can be. Each player should be allowed to compete at a level that is challenging and rewarding.

Eastside provides EXCELLENCE in coaching and training while leading by example in fostering positive attitudes and good sportsmanship.

Eastside promotes the development of character, discipline, and teamwork. We use dedication and fair play as our guides in our pursuit of EXCELLENCE.
