Pitch Count Sheet D30 13-16 year olds
Pitching Affidavit All Districts
1) Mandatory Forms to be carried and presented at each game. You received a plastic sleeve with these documents at the meeting. This should be presented to the scorekeeper at least 20 mins prior to game time.
A) Roster - I have attached an excel version of the roster for you to type out. Each team is to carry one of these rosters whether typed or written out on the roster provided at the meeting. Make sure it is legible and has all the information including but not limited to player numbers, names and birth dates. If for any reason you want to question a player's eligibility or whether they belong on that team you can contact me by email and I will look into it. You are to email me a copy or PDF of your roster by March 15.
B) Pitching Affidavit - A pitching affidavit is attached to this email. Make sure you print multiple copies and have them with you. Make sure you keep them as you fill them out. DO NOT throw them away!!!
C) Line Up Card - A copy of your line up card.
2) Scorekeeping
A) Game Changer can be used for scorekeeping but is NOT an approved by Little League as a confirmed "pitch count". Each game must have a separate person with a pitch count sheet and actually manually count each pitch. These pitch count sheets are attached to this email. Print 10 and keep them with you as you are responsible for the scorekeeper when you are the home team.
B) It is the responsibility of the scorekeeper to fill out the pitching affidavit after each game and the responsibility of the manager to get their sleeve back from the scorekeeper. Affidavits MUST be filled out and carried by each manager. If I receive information they are not or you get to end of season tournaments without affidavits your team may be removed from participation in the tournament.
3) Umpires
A) The HOME team (not host) is responsible for the umpire.
4) The rules are attached. Read them, know them, ask any questions if you have any. If it is not in the supplemental rules then all other rules are covered by the little league rule book/app. Download the app as it is very easy to use.
5) NO Gentlemen's agreements. The Little League rule book/app and supplemental rules are to be observed. Any gentlemen's agreements are null and void and can cause both teams to forfeit a game with gentlemen's agreements.
6) A team may play a game with 8 players. They can also borrow a player from the other team or any other team in juniors. The borrowed player will play on the other team for the duration of the game. No rotating outfielders.
7) Score reporting - In the rules is how to report scores, home runs and no hitters.
8) It is important to communicate to make this program work. You can email, text or call Kent anytime at 661-714-8730 with any questions. If you have a game that you cannot field a team for or any upcoming situations with the schedule you can email Kent and your ADA ONLY!!!! I will review the situation and see if we can come to a resolution.
9) Tournaments - Beginning of April I will send an email to gauge interest in an intermediate tournament. If we do an intermediate tournament all participating teams would need to be available all 7 days of a week. This will give you some time to discuss with your team.
10) You must play 12 games (players must play in 8 of those games) to qualify for all stars. If you have less thank 12 games on your schedule you will need to email me and let me know you want to get to 12 games to qualify for all stars.
11) The schedule is considered a unbalanced schedule. Each team and league had different permit days and times. I did the best I could to observe travelling during the week but not in all cases. The schedule is the best under the circumstances. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email, text or call me (Kent).
12) If you want a team specific schedule with JUST your team's games please submit an email with your division and team name.
Below are google docs links to the schedule and other documents. The google docs schedule link is the master schedule. I suggest you check it each week if not daily to ensure you have all the correct days and times for your games. I will email each manager if any games change.
